Netflix App Gets Major Upgrade on iOS

Netflix recently released a major update to its iOS app, which has been given a welcome redesign with a lot of visual improvements. The updated app, now available in the App Store, has a lot of user interface upgrades that make the app feel more vibrant and snappier.

The main functional tweaks that have been made include the search icon that has been moved to the top of the screen and new filters that help you search films or TV shows by category. This makes it easier to browse through Netflix's expansive catalog. Additionally, the app now supports AirPlay, allowing you to watch content on any compatible device.

Another useful feature is the addition of a “Continue Watching” section, which allows you to quickly pick up where you left off in your most recent binge-watching session. The app also supports picture-in-picture, allowing you to keep watching your show while using other apps.

Unfortunately, the app still lacks some much-requested features, such as the ability to download content for offline viewing and the ability to add multiple user profiles. Both of these features are available on the Android version of the app, so it’s a bit disappointing that they haven’t been added to the iOS version yet.

Overall, Netflix’s updated iOS app is a welcome improvement, but it still has some room for improvement. We hope that Netflix will continue to update the app and add some of the much-requested features in the future.
