Vermintide 2 Celebrates 7th Anniversary with Events and Delayed Weapon Pack Release
The latest updates bring exciting and bittersweet news for fans of Warhammer: Vermintide 2. The game is currently celebrating its seventh anniversary with various rewards and events, creating a festive atmosphere for players.
From now until March 16th, participants can engage in rat-hunting and enjoy double experience points. Additionally, players have the opportunity to earn two new profile frames as part of the anniversary festivities. The first frame is obtainable through the event mission titled A Quiet Drink, while the second frame is offered to those affected by a recent data loss issue that impacted their Versus gameplay.
As part of the Versus mode updates, a new map titled A Grudge Served Cold has been introduced, set in an abandoned Dwarf hall which fans might recognize from the Adventure mode. This addition presents fresh challenges and environments for players to explore.
However, this wave of good news comes with a disappointing update as well. According to the latest patch notes, the release of the anticipated Weapon Pack has been postponed until next year. Although this information might be discouraging for numerous individuals eager players looking forward to new tools of combat, the dedicated community of Vermintide 2 has shown remarkable loyalty over the years, making the wait for an additional year seem manageable.
