YouTube’s New ‘Primetime Channels’ Feature Allows Users to Subscribe to Streaming Services

"Primetime Channels" allows US users to watch content from YouTube's biggest streaming services. With over 30 streaming giants including AMC+, Epix, Starz, Paramount+, and Showtime already signed to YouTube, viewers will have plenty to choose from.

To take advantage of this new feature, you need to go to the Explore tab, where the user can easily find YouTube's Movies & Shows hub. After that, you can subscribe to any channel from the list, which will subsequently appear on the YouTube home page. With this new feature, users will have a unique personalized experience that will include recommended movies and shows, as well as cast interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and curated trailers.

Due to the fact that the function has appeared recently, so far only residents of the United States can use it, but in the future, YouTube will expand its access to residents of other countries. Also, the company has great ambitions for future projects with many of the leading streaming partners in order to give users even more choices over time.

Paramount+ became one of YouTube's partners in connection with the 'Primetime Channels' project, meanwhile, it is the largest primetime channel that has been partnering with Walmart and The Roku Channel for some time. In an official statement, the business development officer and chief strategy officer at Paramount Streaming, Jeff Shultz, confirmed that their partnership with YouTube is an important step in bringing even more platforms to access Paramount+ for their audience.
