Walmart Review

Walmart is a handy app designed to facilitate your shopping experience. No need to drive to the store and spend hours cruising around its departments, or complete an authorization process on the website to look at their special offers. Everything you have ever wanted, hoped for, and loved about Walmart is already in the app.

Design and Usability 8/10

Personally, I find Walmart’s app design to be smart and attractive. Everything about it helps to provide you with the best and most realistic shopping experience. The app is very easy to use and does not require you to be extra tech-savvy to take full advantage of its many options. Anyone with a little experience of online shopping will intuitively find their way around it. The only thing I do not like about the app is that you have to do a lot of manual adjusting for the Navigation function to work as it should within the physical store.

Key Functions 8/10

Walmart has many valuable features that make it a must-have app for anyone who, like myself, values their time and cares for comfort. Its shopping features include a built-in browser to check the availability of items and identify their in-store location, an in-app scanner to see item prices. Using this app, you can quickly place an in-store pickup order, get home delivery, reorder your favorites, or preorder goods that are out of stock.

However, your interaction with the app does not stop at shopping alone. Paying for your purchases is easy with Walmart Pay, which is a mobile wallet where you conveniently store your debit and credit cards, Walmart gift cards, and coupons. Express Money Service feature allows sending and receiving funds from and to your Walmart account with just two taps on the screen. The app also integrates convenient pharmacy services to order meds, track prescriptions, and request timely refills.

Security 8/10

Walmart has made their app very secure. It takes good care of your personal and financial information. To access the Walmart account on your smartphone, you will need to use a touch ID verification or a passcode.  

Compatibility

The app is free across the App Store and Google Play. It is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.

Customer-Centric App for Improved Shopping Experience

I believe the app will be a helpful pick if you like to do your shopping on the move or live in an area where there is no Walmart store. Its design is likable, and the functionality is laudable, although I will miss the Savings Catcher option dearly.
