Nextdoor Review
Nextdoor is your ultimate virtual assistant when it comes to managing local issues. The app features just about every option to help you meet your neighbors, find interesting events or businesses around you, or just hire a babysitter for your kids. Download Nextdoor and stay informed about every important thing that happens in your neighborhood.
Interface 8/10
The interface of Nextdoor apk is not original or experimental – actually, we’ve seen something like this many times before. But what’s great about this Nextdoor app is that it combines lots of different services and makes switching between them as easy as just swiping your screen left or right. You get a generic page with available local restaurants – but it takes a single tap to switch to your local garage sales or a home services page. This diversity and flexibility are what makes the app so comfortable to use.
Features 10/10
This Android Nextdoor version covers most of your local needs and interests, offering you a variety of useful features. That includes powerful social networking options that allow you to communicate with your neighbors and exchange items or home services. The app also provides information about the best local events, garage sales, new restaurants, and so on. I like this app because it saves me a lot of time by mixing news, interesting offers, and community issues – all in one place.
Performance 8/10
The app is pretty optimized, and it runs smoothly even on relatively outdated mobile devices. However, it still has its flaws, including occasional bugs or annoying options you can’t turn off. For example, the news digest sends you endless notifications even if you don’t have time to read them. The search algorithm needs some work since it tends to mess up your results altogether, mixing relevant entries with completely random, unrelated news and discussions. But these problems are actually quite rare.
Pricing 9/10
The app is completely free, and that’s really great. I wouldn’t like to pay some additional fees to browse garage sales and local restaurants – but I don’t mind looking at a couple of ads every now and then if that’s the price users have to pay for getting service this useful. However, these ads get more annoying with time, and that’s a little disappointing.
The Verdict
At the end of this Nextdoor review, I’d like to recommend it to everyone despite the app having many ads and occasional bugs. Download Nextdoor and keep in touch with your neighborhood everywhere you go.
