RadarNow! Be Aware of Weather Changes. Read The Review!

You no longer have to rely on primary methods to be on the lookout for any weather changes around you. RadarNow app for all Android devices and iOS gadgets is an ideal upgrade that functions as your pocket weather forecaster and offers convenience and accuracy. Here’s the full review of the app.

Interface

One feature I find exceptional about this iOS and Google Android app is its straightforward design and intuitive user interface. All the weather imagery presented through the app are not like other conventional weather tools since they’re animated radar images. This adds some fun to the map reading process while offering the current weather conditions to keep you updated. The interface is also intriguing yet simple, and I was able to find my way within the app a few minutes after getting the app installed.

In this category, the app scores a 10/10.

Features

The iOS and Android mobile app offers services that are based on observations by the National Weather Service. Basically, it’s a weather radar right in your pocket. This makes it easier for you to come up with weather-based decisions such as whether to go on a picnic or hiking since you’ll know exactly what weather to expect. Due to the lots of features and functionalities, you’ll notice that the app significantly drains the battery. However, it’s relatively less harsh on the battery compared to other similar tools.

The latest version comes with an updated map that has enhanced contrast graphics that increase readability. Additionally, it offers some bug fixes as well as better support for the screen of iPhone X. To get rid of the Ad banners, you’ll need to get a paid upgrade. The app also offers an Ads opt-out in-app purchase for $4.99 that blocks the annoying ads.

The app is available for both Android (version 4.0 and over) and iOS (version 11.2 and over). Therefore, it works well with different sets of Android devices, iPads, iPhones, and iPods touch.

This section earns a 10/10.

Performance

The iOS and Android app is designed to work quickly and efficiently while offering lots of great free options. Notably, you don’t have to dig through menus to confirm if a storm is coming. Additionally, it works seamlessly without lags and has never crashed on my device. The intuitive user interface also adds to the convenience and ease of use.

The app`s ease of use deserves a 10/10.

The Verdict

Since the App Store and Google Play app for smartphones uses a home network, WiFi settings, or GPS, it may drain the battery power considering its reliance on heavy internet usage to function efficiently. Therefore, it’s advisable that you monitor these usages. Regardless, the app is packed with lots of features that are designed to integrate easily into your day to day smartphone experience without creating any distractions. With this regard, I would recommend this leading weather app.
