Cisco Webex Meetings is a videoconferencing platform that is easy to use. It suits large companies that need additional functions and high quality of video and audio.

The app's interface looks pleasant and works without failures. Here you can see your calendar with the planned meetings. Also, it's possible to find tabs with contacts and call them. When the videoconference is started, you can see the most necessary buttons in the bottom: for switching off the camera, audio and etc. I like that there are not so many additional buttons and icons. So, Cisco Webex Meetings' interface is rather user-friendly.

In general, the process of organizing a videoconference is simple. Using the application, it's necessary to launch a conference planner, indicate the topic of the meeting, add participants, set the date and time. Other users receive an email invitation to the conference, at the appointed time they just have to click on the "Join" button in the invitation letter.

By default, your own video is displayed in the mirror mode. You can turn off this function. I should note in this Cisco Webex Meetings review that all the settings can be saved for the next meeting. Also, it's possible to record conferences and share them later with other people. All audio, video, and presentations will be saved.

I like that this app provides video and audio in high quality. So, if your Internet connection is stable and your colleagues have got a good camera and headset, you'll have the feeling that you sit with these people in the office.

The app works perfectly on my gadget. Anyway, I have to say that the text chat is placed a bit uncomfortable. Also, the sound of leaving the chat may be very annoying, especially when 200 or more people leave the conference.

The basic package Meetings is free of charge if you join to created conferences. It provides unlimited meetings for up to 100 participants, end-to-end call encryption and many additional functions. If you need to create your own video sessions, you can get a free trial for two weeks. Then paid plans start with an initial package at a price of $13.50 per month (everything depends on the number of host licenses).

The Verdict

I recommend you to download Cisco Webex Meeting as this app will be useful for many people who have to work from home. Anyway, I have to note that in the free version you won't be able to create your own sessions. So, you'd better install this app if your company uses Cisco Webex Meetings or you're ready to pay money.
